Cycle Year Qualities
FIRST CYCLE YEAR
This is the starting point of a new nine-year era/cycle in your life, and a very vital year, as it symbolizes the sowing/seeding time of your cycle when seeds of ambition should be sown: seeds of ambition that should be cultivated carefully for the coming six years to produce rewards for your labors during the fruition/harvest period of this nine-year cycle. The natural law is quoted in Scripture, "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven ... a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted." (Ecclesiastes 3:2) The harvest that you reap depends greatly upon the constructive effort you put forth this year.Let action be your keynote. Make new contacts, and leave no stone unturned in your efforts to establish yourself in something that it is your ambition to do. Remember that one gets from life only according to one's efforts put forth. Do not sit down and expect the active year to drop opportunities in your lap, without effort on your part. It will aid you in your activities, but it demands constructive effort on your part. Remember that the mind is the motivating power; time is the mathematical blueprint.
SECOND CYCLE YEAR
This year is still in the seeding time of your cycle, a continuation of last year's conditions except that they are not as active and definite. You must put forth every effort to further your ambitions, but you will make greater progress if you will meet and mix more this year and further your interests through congenial associations; do not consider it wasted time to do so. Nature intends that sociability and contact with people will be the dominating influence working for you throughout this year.
Put forth effort, although conditions appear to be passive; they are satisfactory although not outstanding. This is the year to build clientele and to make yourself or your business known. Remember that last year and this year constitute the foundation period on which the success of the next seven years of your cycle depends, so put forth honest effort.
THIRD CYCLE YEAR
This is the end of the first third (the foundation period) of your nine-year cycle; i.e., seeds shown in the first and second cycle years should begin to show marked growth, yet there are tests to pass through before actual fruition takes form. You will successfully pass through the test period that nature will put you through for one year and a half following the month of July of this year, provided you have not been misled into believing that the good conditions contacted in the first half of this year are permanent.
The first half of this year brings some very promising and active conditions; these promises will cause you to be over-optimistic and to be misled into taking action in some undertaking, or planning changes for the latter half of the year; remember that regardless of all the good propositions you may be offered during the first half of this year, unless they can be materialized by the 18th of July, a disappointment is a foregone conclusion, for the year starts with great promises but closes with a disappointment. Invariably if one is not permitted or able to conclude important undertakings by July, you would be advised to plan major changes or promotions until your 5th cycle year.
FOURTH CYCLE YEAR
You are now in your test period of this nine-year cycle. If there is a weakness in the health, or if there is discord in close associations or in business affairs, this is the year when the weakness will show up more definitely and test you in all ways. Conditions are of a test nature and your patience is apt to be tested from many angles.
Do not make any vital changes nor make any decisions important to the future, as things started or decided upon this year will not culminate satisfactorily. Be careful in all dealings. Attend to technical details; it is a year for much hard work without a great deal of reward to show for your efforts. However, do not worry; work hard.
Make every effort to carry through this year with anything that you started in the beginning of your cycle; there will be an urge to throw in the sponge and make a change into something that appears to be better, but be advised that nothing else that you could go into this year would be better.
You must prove to nature that you can stick through test conditions before you can make further progress. Cut down on overhead expenses; live within your budget. Systematize your affairs and put your roots down deeper. Keep your optimism, your sense of humor, resolve, and self confidence.
FIFTH CYCLE YEAR
If you have put forth constructive effort over the previous four years of the cycle, this year will be the starting point of five years of active and constructive conditions. This is your year to broaden out in whatever it is your ambition to accomplish Do not procrastinate, as the efforts you put forth in this year are vital to the fruition/harvest years of this cycle (which begin two years hence) when you reap what you have sown.
This is your year for change and travel, new experiences, and many new contacts that should prove of great value to you later. This is an educational year and you must be very careful or there may be some bitter experiences or much learned at a cost.
This is a most active and constructive year and although it is not accumulative, much can be accomplished that will bring you accumulation later on in your harvest period. This is your year in which you should build things up. Make necessary changes to further your ambitions and be progressive. Think carefully before committing yourself to any undertaking. Be active, but be careful.
SIXTH CYCLE YEAR
This is the year of the cycle when you must put forth effort in settling affairs and financial matters. If interested in business, important decisions will have to be made and indebtedness settled; conditions will allow you to accomplish much by the close of the year. It is your year to make plans and to build towards an expansion and more accumulative conditions following a beneficial settlement next year; in the meantime, rearrange your affairs, settle up indebtedness, refinance if necessary. Prepare for your fruition/harvest in the next three years. In personal affairs, put your house in order.
Everything made this year will have to be paid out in preparation for more settled conditions. There will not be much accumulation at the close of this year but much will have been accomplished in straightening up your affairs.
For a married woman, this sixth cycle year is a year of procreation when the forces of nature are very strong in this respect and when conditions are favorable to conception.
For those unmarried or not interested in family increase, this year shows something working under the surface to bring a desired event or a beneficial settlement into their lives next year.
SEVENTH CYCLE YEAR
This is the seventh/Sabbath (The Sabbath year, observed among the ancient Israelites as one of rest, relaxation and festival) year of your nine-year cycle. It is the starting point of the fruition/harvest period of your cycle in which you will reap what you have sown through the efforts put. If you are over-sensitive, then you are apt to feel it this year. You must control your emotions; relax and develop peace of mind; overcome worry and uncertainty by seeking and applying yourself to the Universal Principle and follow the natural laws of the Universe.
Conditions become more settled and satisfactory, with more accumulation, as the year progresses. Seek into the deeper things of life this year, for this is your year for meditation and for mental development along spiritual and philosophical lines.
This is your Sabbath year of the nine-year cycle when you should begin to live on the fruits of previous labors and during the latter half of this year receive your rewards for previous efforts put forth.
Get out in nature as much as possible and enjoy the beauties, peace, and relaxation that can be gained from the great out-of-doors; it will bring you great relaxation. It is a wonderful period in which to write your thoughts. The first half of the year may be a little unsettled; don’t expect fulfillment of anything of importance before the 18th of July.
EIGHTH CYCLE YEAR
This is your year of fruition/harvest, when what has been sown over the past seven years will bear fruit. If constructive effort has been put forth this year should bring some very fine conditions with more accumulation, unexpected finances, and the chance to sell anything at a profit that you wish to dispose of.
It should be the most successful year of the nine-year cycle, from a material standpoint. Put forth intense effort to materialize your undertakings and bring things to a head; force the issue this year, as conditions are in your favor. This is a year to take profit on previous ventures; it is a time when you should be reaping success borne of previous efforts.
Do not invest in propositions that you expect to carry through the next nine-year cycle; the nine-year cycle is drawing to a close next year, and it is not the time to sow seeds of ambition now.
Conditions should be fortunate for you and you should take advantage of every opportunity in respect to short term investments. If you are not interested in the business world, this year should bring something you have wanted for some time, or bring you the chance to do something you have wanted to do. As you have sown, so you will reap, this year.
NINTH CYCLE YEAR
This is the closing year of a nine-year cycle. This is your time to reflect over the past, and to extract a seed from experience which will allow you to further your progress in a new and constructive cycle that begins in the following year.
Do not start anything of an important nature or invest in any enterprise or make important changes this year, for conditions are not favorable to such undertakings, any more than December would be a good month to sow seeds in the ground. This is your year to make plans for the future, but wait until your new cycle to put your plans into action.
During this year you will be more easily influenced through your emotional nature. Control your temper, be careful in associations; guard against doing things that could create friction or have a serious reaction in your life.
This is a year when you could meet someone who could have a very vital influence in your life; a married person must be careful to handle any personal problem through the mind and not follow the dictates of emotion or trouble will ensue that will bring a loss.
Plan carefully for action and change in the following year. Look to the following year when you should make a start in something that it is your desire to accomplish. This is a year to think and plan, but take no definite action.
Remember, any important decision made this year will be changed the early part of the following year, probably in February or March. Govern your emotions, moods, and speech this year.
